Character Visual Development Paintings

It was fun to help design to look of Beckett, the heterochromatic pudgy fur ball of a cat, initially designed by Patrick Mate and original director Mark Kotsier. I painted about 20 characters and helped design sets for this animated comedy that was unfortunately cancelled in 2018 early in it's production at Original Force 3D Animation. Luckily, Montreal based studio, L'Atilie Animation, picked it up and were able to make the film with director, Chris Jenkins.

I designed and painted the colors and textures of the characters, but did not design or model them with the exception of the seated cat was which was designed by me. I came up with the concept for the poster, Mark Kotsier designed it, Patrick Mate designed the cat, and Tommy Kim the numbers & letters - team effort!
